Richard has over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry. A native of Midland, he commenced his professional journey as a drilling fluid salesman in the Permian Basin. While attending law school, Richard worked as a Landman, focusing on acquiring leasehold and mineral interests, a practice he continues to this day. He actively manages extensive land holdings spanning tens of thousands of acres. Additionally, Richard is a board member of Albright Mineral Fund, LP, Albright Mineral Fund II, LP, and Albright Mineral Fund III, LLP. He earned his BBA in Finance from Texas Tech University and his JD from Southern Methodist University School of Law. Richard lives in Dallas with his wife and their three children.
Brad Leiphart has accumulated four decades of experience in banking, private equity, and debt finance, primarily concentrating on the real estate and energy sectors. He initiated his professional journey as an asset manager and analyst at JMI, a newly established Mortgage REIT in Dallas, Texas. Following this, he oversaw the commercial real estate finance divisions at First Federal Savings & Loan and First Commercial Bank before founding Crow Mortgage Company, a mortgage brokerage and real estate development firm with operations in the Southwest, including offices in Dallas and Little Rock, Arkansas. Additionally, Brad held the position of Chairman of the Board and principal stockholder of Arkansas Federal Bank and was a partner in Univest, a pioneering software startup that developed the first fully browser-based commercial real estate servicing software, which was acquired by Midland Loan Servicing in 2000. Since the year 2000, Brad has been the principal partner at Leiphart Financial Partners (CFP), where he has facilitated over one billion dollars in debt and equity financing for various real estate projects, private equity initiatives, and energy funds, including five mineral funds. He also holds board positions with Carrollton Mineral Partners II, Centennial Minerals Holdings, Appalachian Basin Minerals, LP, and Albright Mineral Fund, LP. Brad’s academic background includes studies at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, American College in Paris, and the London School of Economics, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
Adam possesses three decades of experience in the oil and gas sector. He founded Crossland Oil & Gas in 1991, which remains operational today. Between 1993 and 2006, he held business development positions at David H. Arrington Oil & Gas and Five States Energy, where he was instrumental in acquiring proven producing properties and engaging in drilling activities across Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas. Following his roles at Arrington and Five States Energy, Adam assembled a technical team to establish Novus Exploration, LLC, an exploration and production firm supported by Tenaska Capital Management, where he acted as Vice President of Business Development. Under his leadership, Novus successfully drilled twenty horizontal Marcellus wells in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, achieving a production rate of 50 MMcf/d by the time of their exit in 2012. Subsequently, Adam has been a principal partner and engaged in business development for Foreland Resources, LLC, an exploration company in the Permian Basin, and he serves on the boards of Albright Mineral Fund, LP, Albright Mineral Fund II, LP, and Albright Mineral Fund III, LP. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from UT Arlington and currently resides in Dallas with his wife and two children.
Mark Thomann possesses 15 years of expertise in real estate, banking, and private equity finance, with a particular emphasis on real estate and energy sectors. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001, he began his career at Spaulding and Slye Colliers International in Washington D.C. In 2003, he relocated to Dallas to assume the role of portfolio manager at KeyBank Real Estate Capital. By 2005, he became part of Crow Financial Partners, where he facilitated debt and equity financing for various initiatives, including real estate, private equity, and oil and gas. Currently, Mark holds the positions of partner and CFO at Crow Financial Partners, Vice President of Finance & Administration, and partner at Centennial Mineral Holdings, overseeing five energy funds: Partnership Minerals I & II, Centennial Mineral Holdings, Appalachian Basin Minerals, LP, and Albright Mineral Fund, LP. Additionally, he served as CFO for Foreland Resources, LLC, a private equity-backed exploration and production company operating in the Permian Basin. Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
